We are closed on Sundays and Mondays.

Don’t panic! If your firearm is scheduled to be delivered on a Monday:

UPS, FedEx, USPS and DHL are aware we are closed. We will receive it the next day (Tuesday).

For some reason some customers think their firearm will be sent back, confiscated and melted down in to scrap metal. I’ve been doing this for 9 years. Not once has that happened.

Also, it is not necessary to call and let me know a package is scheduled to be delivered on a Monday. I am aware of my store hours 🙂

Abandoned Firearms

Firearms / Suppressors / Other Items that are not picked up within 60 days of receipt at our office will be considered abandoned unless other WRITTEN arrangements have been made. Items left more than 15 days without WRITTEN agreements will incur a $2 per day storage fee per item. If we are unable to contact you due to missing or inaccurate information from the shipper it is your responsibility to contact us within 60 days and take care of any storage fees. After 60 days we will assume the item(s) to be abandoned and will either sell the items for the transfer cost plus storage fees, or otherwise disposition the firearm(s) as we see fit with no recourse against us or reimbursement to the customer. Having your items shipped to us indicates your acceptance of this policy.

We are very willing to work with customers that may need to leave firearms with us for an extended time, but have had a few instances where firearms have been left for years without any contact with the customer. This policy is to protect our interests in those cases where customers are unable, unwilling, or are unreachable in regard to receiving their firearm.

This policy does NOT apply to NFA items as long as there is an actively pending Form 4 and no storage fees are charged while item(s) are awaiting an approved tax stamp. Once the form 4 is approved or denied, the above abandoned firearm policy will be enforced.

Important: Non-FFLs, before you mail us a firearm please make sure of the following:

1. The firearm is UNLOADED and there is no ammunition enclosed.
2. Enclose a clear copy of YOUR ID, front and back, with the firearm. We MUST have a record of who the firearm came from!
3. Enclose information about who the firearm is to be transferred. At least a name and phone number, but the more information the better.

We are not psychics and cannot spend hours trying to track down who the firearm is for. If you do not include the seller/shipper’s information AND the intended receiver’s information, the firearm will be turned over to our local ATF field office as we will be unable to return it directly to a non-licensed person without going through an FFL in the sender’s state of residence. Returning to the sender in this instance does not fall under the gun-smithing or factory repair exemption and we cannot return it directly to a person who does not hold a Federal Firearms License.

Why? A Federal Firearms Licensee is required to maintain a log book indicating where a firearm came from and to whom it was transferred. We receive several firearms daily and do not have time to spend investigating who a firearm is for or where it came from. The law requires that we have this information logged by the close of the business day, and we will not illegally keep firearms of unknown origin or disposition in our store.
