Yes, we lost our lease July 31, 2025

After 19 years running Chattanooga Bar Stools & More and running my FFL side business the shopping center we called home for over 16 years was sold. My wife and I looked all over Chattanooga for “affordable” retail space, but with all the growth Chattanooga has been experiencing in the past decade or so has driven up commercial lease rates. I don’t understand how any small business could afford current asking prices, so we made the decision to close down operations.

With 10 years worth of gun customers, many of whom are now like family, I decided to keep my Federal Firearms License and offer transfer services out of my home. Thankfully the county government allowed me to do this, and the ATF approved my change of address.

So that’s the short story.

It’s not going to be quite the same. Not having our furniture store means that I have to get a “real” job working for someone else, so I won’t be able to keep normal store hours. I intend to be available on the weekends and “after hours” from 6-8 during the week as available to take care of customers. Transfers will have to be by appointment only. As soon as your firearm arrives we’ll give you a call and schedule a time for you to do the transfer paperwork, which typically takes about 10 minutes or less.

If you have any questions, please give me a call at 423-708-5662 and I’ll walk you through the process!

To all of my over 1,000 customers over the past 10 years, THANK YOU for trusting me to take care of your transfer needs and the support you have shown through this transition!
